**Tutors urgently needed for in-person tuition in South West London**

Young Giants is a term-time outsourced tuition service, supporting children who are out of school. We provide one-to-one academic tuition and mentoring in a child's home, school or suitable locations within the community (such as youth centres). We are a growing team, run by qualified teachers and offer personal support to all of our tutors.

Building on our growing reputation as a quality provider, we are seeking new tutors to join our strong team of committed educators.**  Most of our learners are based in South West London so we are looking for practitioners who are able to travel to South West London.**

**We are currently seeking experienced SEN Teachers/Tutors to support learners with a range of SEN from KS1 to KS4. Tuition is in-person, one-to-one in a learner's home or venue within the community.**

Many of our tutors work full-time hours with us and we are able to provide block bookings of 2 to 5 hours per day.

There is a small resources budget for learners and tutors receive a £7 travel allowance per learner visit.

We are seeking tutors who are committed to tuition and prioritise those applicants who are able to commit to their student for several months/academic terms/whole academic year.

Person Specification:

- Minimum - Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 2 years teaching students with SEND in schools or in private settings.
- Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update system or willingness to have one carried out at a cost of £51
- Commitment to the academic development of students and a willingness to commit to termly timetables without missing lessons due to outside commitments
- Secure understanding of child safeguarding

**Salary**: £30.00-£40.00 per hour
