Senior Care Assistant

Apex Prime Care requires a Senior Carer based in our Southampton area, you must be a dedicated, professional individual who is committed to ensuring good, quality care is delivered and you must be able to cope under pressure within a busy environment.
Salary Stated in advert is £10.50 per hour for a 40 hour week.
If you are a driver you can earn £11.68 on the weekdays and £12.24 on the weekends for overtime care work.
The senior role is part-time but there is the opportunity to top your hours to full time by providing care to the community.
A full driving license and the use of your own car are essential. You must have experience in domiciliary care and a completed a level 2 and worked towards a level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Your role as a senior carer will include:
Promoting care staff personal development,
Carer spot checks and medication competency checks
Undertaking new service user assessments and developing their personalised care plan
Service user reviews
Supporting the care coordinators when required
Auditing of medication
On-call duties when required (includes additional payment)
