**JOB BRIEF**

Ridiculously Rich by Alana are looking for a Cafe Supervisor to join their team to assist in daily operations and provide excellent customer service at our soon to be opening premises in Caernarfon. You will be working at our sea front café, preparing & serving refreshments including our delicious handmade tray-bakes, desserts and savoury dishes. You will work as part of a team to affectively run & grow this avenue of Ridiculously Rich.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervising day to day operations of the café including opening & closing
- Will be required to lone work
- Preparing, cooking and serving all menu items, both food and drink
- Maintain up to date records of cleaning, food safety and other required information
- Assist in content creation to promote the Café by taking photos and other content when required
- Assist in creating and designing regular new dishes for the Café menu
- Assisting in training and supervising any café staff
- Compliance with Health & Safety and hygiene guidelines
- Ensuring the working environment remains clean, tidy and safe
- Working to sales targets
- Ad hoc responsibilities within a Cafe environment i.e. food preparation, cleaning, stock management, serving customers etc.
- Supervising of a team including staff rota’s and training when required
- Ordering of stock and ingredients on a weekly basis

**KEY SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Café Assistant or Barista
- Hands on experience with professional coffee machines is preferred
- Experience of managing a team is preferred
- Ability to work well individually, take initiative and contribute to a team
- Confidence and ability to react to situations and use initiative when required I.e. offer customers off menu items should you run out of a key ingredient
- Strong people and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Hard working and ability to work under pressure/to strict deadlines
- Willingness to learn new skills
- General understanding of the products and skills required
- Passion and enthusiasm, positive attitude and motivated
- Availability to work within opening hours including weekends
