**Hours**:
Monday - Saturday - 09:00 to 18:00
Sunday - 10:00 - 18:00
**Rate**: £425 weekday, £450 weekend

Our client now requires a regular locum optometrist to work sessions in the above location.

The key focus of the role is to complete eye examinations/contact lens appointments, and drive conversions and the average order value through delivering excellent customer service, whilst trading Safe and Legally.
Key Responsibilities:
- examine the eyes of patients in accordance with the CO guidelines and the GOC
- offer help and advice to patients choosing frames, lenses, contacts, etc
- ensure record cards and referral letters are completed to GOC guidelines
- ensure a sufficient level of accuracy for first time refractions to reduce the number of retests
- ensure handovers are carried out competently to relevantly trained members of staff
- keep up to date and comply with the General Optical Council Regulatory Framework
- Conducting Safe and Legal record checks
