This is an exciting role for you to begin your journey in product design. We are looking for individuals with a passion for user experience design and an inquisitive nature to learn about - and help design - EMIS products within the healthcare domain. Asa Junior Product Designer you’ll be joining the Product Experience & Design team which includes Product Designers, UX Authors and UX Researchers. You will receive full support from the team including training on EMIS products and ways of working.
- This Junior Product Designer role is a remote working position, with some requirement to travel to the Leeds office for collaborative meetings._

**What You’ll Do**

As a Junior Product Designer, your key duties will include:

- Collaborate with Product Managers & Product Owners to understand requirements and translate these into usable end experiences for users.
- Develop user journeys, task flows, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes in order to communicate interaction and design ideas, as well as validate assumptions and designs with users, business and technology.
- Help shape UX research needs within projects and deliver testing materials to UX Researchers.
- Help shape the approach and deliverables on projects you are assigned to.
- Contribute to our Design System.

**Who You’ll Be**

We want to make sure you’re set for success so the key skills we’re looking for in the role are below. We know not everyone ticks all the boxes and we’ll provide training on some of the areas if you’re the right person for the role.
- Passion for technology and understanding of user experience within technology products.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Inquisitive nature - to digest complex content information within tech.
- Ability prioritise your workload and manage multiple projects at any one time.
- An appreciation of the user-centred design process and experience designing wireframes would be advantageous.
- Experience with design or prototyping tools such as Figma or Axure RP would be advantageous.
