About us Shop Information
Our Loughborough shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. Our Sue Ryder Loughborough shop is located on Biggin Street opposite the Rushes Shopping Centre in the town centre. We can accept donations through our main door or at a door to the side of the shop if for bulk drop-offs. Our vibrant and welcoming shop is spread over two floors. The ground floor has a huge selection of men’s and ladies clothes with all the accessories you need, along with our new goods department to keep your home up to date. Upstairs we offer a large range of furniture, electrical and media and a well-stocked children's section.
About you
If your passion is fashion, if you have a creative flair for design displays & you love visual merchandising, then come and help our customers discover the best fashion in our Sue Ryder Loughborough shop. As a volunteer, you'll put your creative eye for fashion to good use by producing interesting and inviting displays. You will create an atmosphere enticing customers into our shop by displaying unique & sought after items. You will also join us in meeting & greeting our customers and become a valued member of our team learning the till and so much more.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.
Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.
How much time does the role take up?
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
