Inventory Controller

To offer daily support to the Global Inventory Manager and ensure the business has adequate inventory supplies available globally to meet local client demands
**YOUR ROLE**
Co-ordinate the reverse logistics of our re-usable packaging & assets in the network. Commercial awareness to ensure economic & effective routings are utilised where possible for placement & return inventory to maximise P&L.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Co-ordinate the reverse logistics of the Global inventory.
- Monitor and control the stock levels of packaging & assets at all Global Warehouse locations, scheduling replenishment as required.
- Manage the return and replacement of damaged / obsolete inventory.
- Provide daily reports to the QuickSTAT Network / Operations team detailing all of the above.
- Control the Global Inventory volumes and make continuous assessments if additional purchase / repositioning of inventory is required.
- Inventory forecasting using historic data, trends and known customer demand to predict future inventory requirements.
- Monitor the most economic routings available & ensure these are utilised for stock placement & inventory reverse movements.
**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES**
- Specialist (Biopharm) Courier Operations Experience.
- Good understanding of Courier / Freight Operations including Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport.
- Excellent understanding of World Geography
- Comprehensive understanding of the various temperature-controlled packaging solutions & GPS tracking devices available on the open market.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork skills and strong self-motivation ability
- Ability to work successfully under pressure
- Excellent time management, planning & organisational skills.
- High level computer skills - Word / Excel / PowerPoint essential.
- Capability to analyse data and identify trends / systemic issues.
- Analytical skills to include the ability to analyse data, make difficult decisions and solve complex problems.
