**Support Worker vacancy, maternity cover, for a minimum of 12 months.**

Location: The Annex, Melrose Primary School

Hours: Flexible for the following shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours per week

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

Qualification: Working towards or willing toi undertake a relevant childcare qualification (or equivalent)

**The Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our very successful out-of-school-club. We are looking to increase our number of Support Workers to join our small, friendly team. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

During term time you will be required to work within the following hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 9.15am Breakfast Club, Monday to Thursday 3.00pm to 6.00pm After School Club and Friday 12.00 noon to 6.00pm After School Club. During Holiday Club we are open between 7.30am and 6.00pm

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, fun, creative and flexible person. You must be a team player and also develop relationships with the parents and carers as well as the most important people, the children

**Flexibility is essential.** You must be prepared to help when needed and undertake certain domestic jobs within the setting such as preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc. You will receive a rota for your working days, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. There is an expectation you will be flexible across the opening times of the service.
