Counter Fraud Investigator - Salary circa £30,000

This is a great job for someone who loves to investigate, engage with customers, customer facing claims handlers and third parties to assist with evidence gathering.

We are looking for a Counter Fraud Investigator, if you have a background in insurance, investigation role or has been in a fraud prevention type role previously, we would love to hear from you

A bit about the job:
The role will be supporting property claims. As the Counter Fraud Claims Investigator, you will review potentially fraudulent claims that have been referred from a variety of sources, by appropriately investigating potential fraudulent claims and support our genuine customers claims being settled as quickly as possible.

You will be training and coaching on a 1:1 level or larger groups. You will support our customer facing handlers to ensure we’re continuously improving detection and referral rates, protecting our business and our genuine customers from fraudulent behaviour.

You will deal with customer demand so must have effective telephony skills and be able to show initiative, making quick decisions when necessary. Along with managing your own time whilst working as a team to maintain a caseload of active investigations.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Desirable but not essential to understand fraud investigations and possible outcomes of investigations.- Experience working in insurance claims or fraud investigation.- The ability to effectively manage personal workload.- Excellent communication skills - written and oral- Knowledge of UK legislation including The Fraud Act 2006 (desirable)
