**IT Director / Head of IT Operations - E-commerce, Logistics, Order Fulfilment**

Are you looking to take that next step in your career and make the role truly your own?

This is a new position within the business, so from day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of the IT operations, and an ongoing impact on the overall growth.

As well as being hands-on technically, you will be managing an array of technical and non-technical stuff including IT Managers, Developers, Support Engineers, and external partners.

The successful IT Director / Head of IT Operations will have extensive knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services), computer hardware both Mac and Windows along with its accompanying software, network maintenance, and advanced industry knowledge to keep the organisationin-tune with cutting edge technologies.

Ideally, your background will with the E-commerce, Logistics, Order Fulfilment etc industry.

**Other duties will include**:

- Utilise technological skills to lead a team, offer high level technical and integration support, participate in research & development, have experience in development planning and execution
- Have sufficient depth of knowledge to identify risk and provide resolution, be efficient and open new opportunities for revenue.
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

This is a permanent role, based in Lancashire (3 days per week / 2 days remote) and is paying a salary of up to £85,000 + great benefits.
