**£55,000 - £60,000 Base + Benefits**

My client are an exciting, high growth technology business providing Cloud based POS Systems to retailers. They are a high-growth business where necessity has them move quickly, make smart choices and carve a clear niche into which their forward-thinking,commercially relevant products and services are welcomed. My client are so advanced and forward thinking that they regularly compete with major technology businesses in the US and win The pace at which my client progress, makes them an incredibly excitingand engaging business to work for.

Having developed long-standing and meaningful partnerships with all areas of retail, they have become a key contributor to the modernisation and growth within the specialist industries they serve.

My client has expanded to a team of more than 52 diverse colleagues and contributors, but growth became rapid in late 2016 when we committed to writing all software in-house, resulting in a fully integrated, End-to-End Cloud retail solutions.

This role would highly suit an experienced IT Manager or Infrastructure Manager that’s comfortable managing and remaining hands on with tech You’ll need to be a confident, calm individual with the ability to work quickly whilst maintaining exceptional quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be managing a team responsible for maintaining and developing a multi-faceted infrastructure; primarily physical and virtualised with some cloud based services.
- You should be highly experienced in working with Hyper-V, Windows Server, IIS and SQL server from a build phase, setup to ongoing troubleshooting and support.
- You should also be knowledgeable in high availability/disaster recovery planning.

**Essentials**:

- Ability to manage a team efficiently
- Experience in Physical Servers, Hyper-V, Networking, Firewalls, DR and Backups
- Administering O365, Azure, Windows Domains and Windows Server technologies
- Proficient in networking technologies and protocols
- Extensive knowledge of SQL Server, installation, replication and troubleshooting
- Experience in IIS deployment, security principles and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, identifying root causes and offering solutions
- Knowledge of Azure AppServices, AD, Networks and Virtual Machines
- Intuitive nature to bring new ideas forward to develop the infrastructure

**Beneficial**:

- Ability to write SQL queries
- Knowledge in Veeam B&R, NAS and SOBR
- Experience in working with Site-to-Site VPNs and security principles
- Experience in working with Clustered Load Balancers
- Setup and management of Watchguard Firewalls
- Powershell - scripting knowledge is advantageous
