Project Timber is a family owned business with over 90 years experience in timber manufacturing. At Project Timber, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of great quality wooden garden products. We specialise in the manufacture and supply of Sheds, Summerhouses, Workshops and Garden Offices.

We are looking to drive further growth and need to increase capacity to be ready for, and deliver for the upcoming seasons. As a result we currently have vacancies for Factory Operatives to join our team.

Responsibilities of an Factory Operative include:

- Self-motivated to work on own initiative.
- Good housekeeping, following procedure in order to keep areas clean and tidy.
- Good observational skills.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
- To be able to actively contribute to continuous improvement within your immediate working environment.
- To be able to accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
- To be able to work to plans
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain continuous quality
Full training for this role is provided and you will be trained on the tools required and how to select the correct material. Assemblers work in individual areas, but are part of a wider team responsible each day for the manufacture a particular building.

Due to the location, your own transport is desirable.

We offer a starting wage of £10.50ph with the opportunity to earn performance related bonuses. Working pattern is 6:30am - 15:30pm Monday to Friday.
