**The Company**

Freestate is an exciting new brand in the consumable energy space, launched only a few weeks ago. Freestate Original gummies deliver the strength of an energy drink in 2 sweet-tasting gummies; all of the energy, none of the downsides of energy drinks, coffee or gels and bars. This is a new category, a new brand and a new audience.

Having recently launched, we're supplementing our online sales with a push into retail. We're looking for our first colleagues to help drive us into both convenience and speciality retail.

**The Role**

As a Field Sales Representative at Freestate, you will have the responsibility and opportunity to develop and manage a territory from scratch, working with convenience and independent stores.

You will grow sales through strong daily interactions with key decision makers, partnering to build a brand new, exciting sub-category within energy. A key focus will be on distribution, displays and extracting sales data from calls.

You will be fully supported by experienced FMCG retail managers, who've been there and seen that, but you will be given the creative bandwidth to help create a strategy as well as deliver it. This is for someone who sees opportunities and wants to have fun along the way.

**What We Are Looking For**

You will be people centric, have strong communication skills, the ability to build robust relationships quickly, and be able to extract information through questioning and relationships built.

Lastly, you will also have a great understanding of the essentials of sales, and that makes you able to negotiate and influence in an impactful way.

**Role Duties**
- Own your territory - input into effective territory mapping and planning to ensure customers are visited at the appropriate frequency.
- Be a brand advocate, presenting and engaging with key decision makers to sell the product and brand proposition
- Sell and negotiate product, placement and POS with a sound commercial understanding of both retailer margins and internal margins
- Gather customer information and input into company CRM system
- Gather key sales data to inform the business and input into future conversations and decisions
- Meet sales targets set by Freestate within your territory

**What You'll Need To Succeed**
- An understanding of the FMCG industry
- Ideally, a minimum of 1-3 years sales experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Driving License
- You must live within a maximum 60 minute commute from the location of the role (Inner City London)

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year
