Windyedge Cottage Care Home are recruiting for a Senior Carer/Supervisor for Nights

If you’re a caring person with a can-do attitude, already have experience supporting older people, including those with dementia, have the confidence to lead a care team and act as advocate for the safety and dignity of residents and have a good understanding of care planning this could be the job for you.

Ideally you will hold an SVQ3 qualification in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this.

Your role:
You will be a key member of the care team and residents will be at the heart of everything you do. You will ensure that residents receive high quality care in a safe, dignified way. You will lead by example, supporting and inspiring your team to deliver the very best standards of care. You will have the opportunity to liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents get the medical care they need. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you will be able to use your initiative and talent to contribute to the success of the home. You will be a keyworker for Residents and ensure all paperwork is current and correct.

Registration with SSSC is required on commencement of employment.

The days of work are per rota and will include weekend working

You may also be required to do extra shifts to cover for holidays and sickness.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22 per week

**Salary**: £12.40 per hour
