An exciting opportunity for a Senior Civils Estimator to join a well-established Main Contractor, based from their offices in Northamptonshire with sites across the Midlands area.

Their portfolio of work spans across the Civils sector, so a solid knowledge & experience within the sector is desirable.

Your overall responsibilities will be to manage estimates, tenders and pre construction cost planning within the business and line managing members of the Estimating Team.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director your duties will be:

- Preparing and processing of quotations, bids and tenders
- Supplier and sub-contractor enquires
- Produce bills of quantities, schedule of work and contractor proposals
- Assess material, labour and plant requirements
- Increase and develop the supply chain at regional offices
- Review unsuccessful bids and client feedback to improve accuracy for future bids
- Assess commercial and operational risks with tenders
- Provide guidance to other members of staff
- Maintain accurate company records

You should also have the ability to lead your team & be the key point of contact and have a qualification in Construction (HNC or above).

The company offer a salary of up to £70k (depending on experience) + competitive package and benefits.
