Our IDVAs are key roles within our Community team, as they provide a range of community-based support services for individuals who have experienced, or are currently experiencing domestic abuse, including those presenting with complex needs.

We have an exciting new role working as part of our established Community Services Team offering proactive support to individuals experiencing domestic abuse, assessed as high risk, with a focus on those from ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
**About the role**
This role will play a crucial role in supporting and empowering survivors of domestic abuse. Working as part of a multi-agency response, with a whole family approach, this role will ensure the voice of the service user is central to all services. This role will support vulnerable adults and children wiht a specific focus on recognising diversity (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities and religious beliefs) You will work alongside other professionals to understand the additional barriers these individuals may face and help to create a support network, which will enable survivors to reach their identified goals.
Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, £27,898 per annum. 12 month fixed-term contract initially.
