We are currently looking for a Blending Operative to join our growing team:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Following Work Orders to produce bulk batches of formulated chemicals from raw materials, using blending equipment.
- Managing the storage of raw materials, including ensuring accurate identification and stock-keeping
- Performing quality checks to ensure blended products comply with specified quality standards
- Maintaining an ordered, tidy and safe working environment.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and perform repair and maintenance work where authorised.
- Reporting faulty, damaged or worn equipment to the Production Manager

**KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- Fluent in spoken English and able to read and write in English
- Current forklift license (counter-balance and reach)
- Able to understand and follow detailed instructions
- Able to operate air-powered and electric mixing equipment
- Able to communicate well and co-operate with team members
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail

**EXPERIENCE**
- At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant, production-related role.
- Some understanding of basic chemistry, e.g. fundamentals of the pH scale, is preferable but not essential.

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm, Friday 7am - 4:30pm

28 days Annual Leave (Including Bank Holidays & Christmas)

Paid morning and afternoon Breaks

Employee of the Month Programme

(Optional) Overtime when needed paid at +1.5 rate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour
