Product Photographer

**Secret Creation **is a product design company that sells a range of **Personalised Gift **productsand **Wedding Stationery. **Our product range is expanding day by day and we are looking to increase our team to keep up with the success of these new products, including our recently launched personalised candle range and full wedding suites.We are currently a small and friendly creative team with big aspirations, based in the beautiful countryside in Holmes Hill, Lewes, East Sussex.

**Job description**

The position that we offer is for a full time permanent **In-House Product Photographer **to join our fast-paced creative team. The successful applicant should be a creative individual who is highly passionate about photography + videography and is able to use their own initiative and problem solve when necessary. They should also have a keen eye for detail, thrive under pressure and deliver high quality work that aligns with our brand image.

You will be responsible for all stages of the product photography process from planning, prepping, styling, sourcing props, organising files, editing and retouching final images as well as creating some imagery for our social platforms including short videos. You will be working alongside our design team so must also have great team communication skills.

**Responsibilities and main duties**
- Good understanding of studio lighting techniques
- Research and sourcing creative props
- Planning and shooting products images from a creative brief
- Editing and retouching images in Photoshop and Lightroom
- Some knowledge of videography, shooting short videos
- Creating product mockups from images within photoshop (training can be provided on mockup creation)
- Organising files
- Taking responsibility for organising photography studio, props, and product samples
- Styling and possible decorating of the photo scene
- Occasional working with models, from sourcing to managing
**Skills required**
- Previous experience working in a studio (working with product photography a bonus but not essential)
- Good working knowledge of photoshop and lightroom software and social media platforms
- Excellent eye for detail
- Previous experience editing photos
- Be able to work in a fast paced creative team and be adaptable with a good work ethic
- Have excellent time management and organisation skills to meet tight deadlines
- Great working in a team but able to use own initiative
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask with good attention to detail
- Be self-motivated with a can-do attitude with the ability to problem-solve and use your own initiative
- Passionate, bubbly & enthusiastic
- Social media experience would be a bonus but not essential.

**Our dog (Labrador) will be in the workshop most days, so the successful applicant must be dog friendly.

Applicants must be available to work 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday from our studio in Holmes Hill, Lewes, East Sussex.

Applicants must be able to get to the studio without relying on public transport, as we are in a rural location.
