**Senior/Semi-Senior Accountant | Leeds | 37.5 hours | £30,000 - £35,000 per annum**

Our client is a leading accounting company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The company’s main office is in a busy business park with great access to all major transport links, and parking is available on site.

To succeed in this role, you will have worked previously within an accountancy firm on behalf of a range of sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- Must have worked in an accountancy practice for at least 3 years
- Previous experience within the Professional Practice Accounting arena
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Good knowledge of accounts preparation and business taxation
- Familiarity with various accounting software - Sage, Quickbooks, Xero etc
- Pride in your work and its accuracy and keen to progress
- Enjoy client interaction and resolving queries, a self-starter
- Able to identify opportunities to develop accounts/highlight potential efficiencies
- Payroll knowledge would be advantageous

**What will your role as a Senior/Semi-Senior Accountant look like?**
- Accounts preparation for a wide range of business entities from computerised records (some manual)
- Completing personal and corporation tax computations and returns
- Assisting the Partner with ad hoc project work for clients
- Liaising with clients on their accounts and handling queries
- Company secretarial on behalf of the clients
