We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Lecturer to join our team. It doesn’t matter if you are either an experienced teacher or a skilled tradesperson looking to move from industry to create a better work life balance; what matters to us is your values and desire to succeed by passing your invaluable knowledge to our learners to ensure they achieve their very best.
**What you will do?**
Those with previous Lecturing experience will have a track record of excellence in assessing and teaching that will allow you to deliver Brickwork to fulltime learners and apprentices. You yourself will be qualified in Bricklaying to Level 3 or above and you will have the industry experience that allows you to contextualise you’re teaching with specific examples. You will also be able to evidence professional development that gives you currency in the sector and will hold, or be working towards, a relevant teaching or assessing qualification, or be willing to take further training to achieve this goal. The College may be able to fully fund and support you to achieve a Level 5 teaching qualification, depending on eligibility criteria.
As a Brickwork Lecturer, you will be responsible for student learning, curriculum development, pastoral care, and administration. Sharing your skills and knowledge, developing and maintaining high levels of student retention and attendance. The post involves teaching an evening class one evening per week, included in the full time hours.
Pay: Up to £38,948.00 per year
