**Job Title**: Engineering Team Leader
**Location**: South Wales
**Salary: **£38,000 - £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
**Term: **Permanent
My client is looking for an Engineering Team Leader to join their team in **South Wales** on a permanent basis.
**TheEngineering Team Leader (Maintenance)will ideally have the following attributes**:

- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services or equivalent to 18th edition wiring regulations
- Previous industry experience working in a similar environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be ideal
- Safe, component knowledge of plant equipment and a good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Experience in using a computerised Maintenance management system
- Good organisation skills, able to plan personal workload and ensure that colleagues deliver to agreed time scale
- Comfortable working within an office and food manufacturing environment

**The Engineering Team Leader (Maintenance) role will involve**:

- Manage & perform set maintenance schedules and procedures, the ethos of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) You will always be seeking ways to continually improve operations.
- You will be responsible for supporting the running of our factory by resolving unplanned downtime and providing a quality maintenance service.
- Attend meetings in the absence of the Engineering Manager.
- Making sure regular inspection checks of electrical safety equipment are done and cleaning control panels
- Monitoring fixed and mobile equipment
- Finding root causes to faults and repairing electrical breakdowns
- Manage & control the Engineering teams holiday plan to ensure adequate shift cover
- Liaise daily with production management to ensure there are smooth production plans in place
- Monitor help and safety, always take appropriate action
- Purchase and carry spare parts to the repair service and maintain equipment
