The child is outgoing, energetic, and charming with a great sense of humour. He is a real academic with a love for maths, playing chess, listening to music, and rock climbing

This is a part-time role. The teacher will be required to work Mondays and Tuesdays 9 am-3 pm which is direct contact with the child (paid for 8-5 pm to account for planning time).

The SEN Teacher needs to have experience in delivering across all aspects of the National Curriculum. This role requires an experienced SEN Teacher that can bring strategies and techniques to support the child if he is feeling overwhelmed or finding it difficultto concentrate on the task at hand, being able to pre-empt triggers and de-escalate situations. The SEN Teacher will need to be firm but fair and be able to stick to clear boundaries, which are a very important aspect of the role as this is when the childfeels most confident, secure, and settled.

It is essential that the Teacher is an excellent communicator, to ensure the family are kept up to date, and to work alongside the other Home-school teacher who works Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It is a requirement for the two teachers to plan the weeklytimetable and delivery of the learning for the child together to ensure consistency and high-quality learning opportunities for him.
