**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated Site Operative to join our team, supporting weatherproofing projects across the UK. You will work closely with a small site team, led by a Team Leader, and report directly to the office-based Contracts Manager. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided; but construction experience is desirable.

This role involves **frequent travel and working away from home**(accommodation provided, with working away allowances). Weekend work is optional and paid at enhanced rates.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation**:

- Carry out weatherproofing installations (e.g. rooflights, vertical penetrations, service risers).
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with site preparation, clean-up.
- Maintain high installation standards.

**Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all health and safety regulations including PPE, RAMS, and harness kit inspections.
- Ensure correct handling of materials in compliance with COSHH requirements.
- Complete site inductions and adhere to access requirements.

**Teamwork & Communication**:

- Work effectively with site supervisors and team members.
- Communicate site issues, variations or updates to the office team.

**Driving Responsibilities**:

- Safely drive company vans to transport materials, tools, and team members.
- Load and secure materials safely.
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tyre pressure, lights) and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle at all times.

**Requirements (Must-haves)**:

- **Full UK driving licence**

**-Valid CSCS card**
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to travel and stay away when required

**Hours of Work**:

- Working hours vary based on site location and project needs.
- A typical working day may start at 6:00 AM and finish around 4:00 PM.
- Flexibility is required to accommodate travel and job requirements.
- Overtime applies after 40 hours per week and is paid at enhanced rates.
- Weekend work is optional.

**Pay & Overtime Rates**:

- Basic 7:30am-4:00pm rate: £12.50 per hour
- Overtime (paid after 40 hours per week):

- Before 7:30am/ After 4:00pm: £16.46 per hour
- Saturday: £18.50 per hour
- Sunday: £24.50 per hour
- Paid travel from home to site and back (excluding commutes to the office)
