Pixel Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced interim Personal Advisor to join our clients Leaving Care Service based in Northampton. Excellent hourly rates on offer at £23.40 per hour (Umbrella). This is a full time role based on 37 hoursa week with an initial 3 month contract with possible on going extension.The Personal Advisor will work with young people that are leaving care and either moving into a self sufficient setting or an adult care setting. The Personal Advisor will be offeringface to face support and advice. Some sessions can be via MS Teams due to Covid guidance. To provide a statutory Personal Advisor service for children in care and care leavers age 16-25 years, ensuring that all legislative requirements are met. Personal Adviserswork with eligible, relevant, former relevant and qualifying care leavers. The work will involve assessing needs, the co-ordination, preparation and completion of Pathway Plans and providing advice, guidance and support to young people preparing for livingindependently into adulthood.Personal Advisor Requirements Experience of working with Young People in Care or Leaving Care Experience of completing Pathway Plans Right to work in the UK Previous Experience of holding a caseload of Children & Young People.Knowledge of relevant Legislation concerning Looked After Children & the responsibilities of Local Authorities towards Care LeaversBenefits of working with Pixel Personnel Your own dedicated & experienced consultant Free on-going training opportunities uponregistering as part of our commitment to you.
