Marquis are the UK's largest motorhome & caravan dealer network specialising in motorhome & caravan sales & service across 12 branches nationwide.

We are looking to recruit a Service Support team member to work at our busy branch in Preston Docklands. Previous experience in areas of the Leisure Industry, manufacturing, automotive, order taking or a similar role would be an advantage.

Key Purpose of the Job
- Interpreting customers’ requirements and ensuring queries are handled quickly and efficiently.
- To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
- To supply and support other areas of the business as required.
- The successful applicant will ideally have a basic knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office would be an advantage), however not essential, as full training will be given. We are looking for a friendly, confident and capable individual who can deal with all kinds of customers under pressure and remain professional at all times.

Accountabilities:

- Maximising available hours to ensure sold hours targets are achieved.
- Promote other services and products to customer as appropriate.
- To raise vehicle job cards for each job and pass to workshop control for scheduling, ensuring that all service documentation is completed as accurately as possible and that customer records are maintained.
- To notify customers of all problems or additional work required and gain authority to proceed, and keep them fully informed of the progress of the work, throughout the time of the repair.
- Liaise effectively with customer booking, workshop loading and parts operation.
- Receive customers and their vehicle in a friendly and professional manner.
- Keep customers fully and regularly informed of changes to costs and expected completion times/dates.
- Meet customer and explain work done and invoice details, ensuring that payment is made before vehicle is released.
- Ensure that all administration relevant to effective running of the department is dealt with promptly and correctly.
- Booking parts in/out.
- Processing invoices.
- Maintain parts stores and technicians stock levels.
- Process the return of all parts and maintain records, including warranty parts.
- Carry out annual stock take.
- Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the Marquis Leisure experience is delivered to all contacts at all times.
- Performing any other ad hock tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of your branch and or the Marquis Group.
- Liaise closely with the After Sales Manager, Workshop Manager and Service Team.
- Ensure that the image and levels of customer service within the department is in line with company standards.

We are seeking a multifunctional member to join our existing team who can seamlessly adapt to different tasks, allowing for more flexible deployment based on immediate needs

Person Specification
- Languages - must be fluent in English and be able to write competently
- Excellent verbal communication skills - has the ability to convey information verbally to fellow team members and customers.
- Good customer facing and telephone skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team environment.
- Able to adapt to the companies needs in the way we deliver our service.
- Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work.
- Full UK Drivers Licence.

Hours of work are full time. Flexibility will be required around busier times of the year.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
