We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our I.T. Services team in the position of Information Security Compliance Officer.

This position will play a crucial role in ensuring changes to information systems are done successfully, in a controlled and safe manner. This position will also help ensure that Forterra remain compliant to relevant regulations and standards such as ISO27001 and GDPR as they internally audit information security controls and policies, while driving continuous improvement in these areas.

Your duties would include but not limited to the following;
**IT Change Management**:

- Develop and implement IT change management procedures and processes.
- Assess the risk a change could have on the business.
- Lead change management activities, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.

**Internal Auditing**:

- Develop and conduct General Controls Audits against company policy and procedures.
- Coordinate Internal Audits to assess compliance with information security policies.
- Assist with ensuring the compliance to relevant laws, regulations and standards pertaining to information security, such as GDPR and ISO27001.

**Other**:

- Vendor Management - Evaluate and monitor the security practices of third-party vendors and service providers to ensure they comply with information security requirements.
- ISMS - Assist in the management and upkeep of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Documentation - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities and audits.
- Continuous Improvement - Advice and assist where necessary on improvements to current policies, procedures, and processes, as well as the implementation of new ones.

About You;
Education / Qualification

**Essential**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in change and auditing.
- Specific qualifications related to change and auditing.
- Experience with managing an ISMS.

It is expected that the Information Security Compliance Officer is computer literate; has effective communication skills; is a good listener; is empathetic; a good organiser; is adaptable; can manage their time well; can work well in a team; is professional; is a critical thinker.
