We are currently looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our enthusiastic team at HSL Compliance, one of the leading companies in the legionella compliance industry providing services to Local Authorities and Housing Associations throughout the UK.

**Recruitment Assistant - The Role**:
**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Understanding each business areas recruitment needs and gaining appropriate authorisation from the relevant management
- Creating job descriptions and adverts and advertising accordingly
- Conducting first stage telephone interviews and arranging second stage interviews for line managers
- Maintaining the recruitment database with accurate data entry skills
- Liaising with several departments regarding new offers to ensure a smooth new starter process
- Creating new and innovative ways to attract and recruit new starters
- Attending jobs and career fairs
- Completing relevant checks for new starters
- Managing and responding to queries through the recruitment admin inbox
- Ensuring all employee data is processed and dealt with in a confidential and sensitive manner
- Providing holiday cover for the HR Administrator

- About you**:
**Experience, Skills & Requirements**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Highly organised and proactive, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Be passionate about people and helping the business grow.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent grammatical ability
- The ability to work on their own initiative but, also be an effective team player
- Have a good understanding of the recruitment process and relevant employment law (not essential)
