If you want to join an established ecological consultancy that prides itself on offering a great place to work, then we would love to hear from you.

Over the last five years, we have given approximately 60 graduates opportunities to join the team with many of those becoming permanent members at the end of the season. Many have continued to develop their skills and progress their careers into more senior positions through the career development support that we are passionate about facilitating.

We encourage staff at all levels to be fully involved in each aspect of our projects from producing fee proposals, through surveys and onto reporting with client engagement a key theme throughout. This allows our staff to discover which aspects of consultancy they excel at, enjoy the most and helps them develop into well-rounded ecologists. We avoid block booking staff to single tasks and projects to ensure that all our staff can gain a broad range of experience to help develop individual careers, which we’re told can be a pleasant change for many that join us from other large consultancies.

You can expect to be involved in a broad range of project work and not just restricted to protected species surveys and site supervision. The work will include integrating with the team on aspects such as project management, GIS, report writing and biodiversity net gain as just some of the opportunities available to you. Full, on the job training is provided.

At this point in your career our main requirement is for a enthusiastic and motivated attitude and the drive to learn and progress. Desirable skills include an ability to record field data reliably and accurately to a consistent and high standard. Good written skills will be an advantage. You may also be proficient with software such as QGIS. The ability to communicate well and work effectively as part of a team is vital.

These roles will be based out of our head office in Lockington on the Leicestershire / Derbyshire border. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is necessary due to the nature of our business and site locations.

**Salary**: £20-30K

- 35 hour working week
- Full time & part time roles available
