**Deputy Manager**

**Location: Wallsend North Tyneside**

**Salary: £24,175 + Benefits**

**Hours: Perm, 40 hours per week**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Deputy Manager to join our client's friendly and dedicated team of childcare professionals. In this role, you'll contribute to their mission to give children a healthy start in life, equipping them with thesupport, knowledge and nurturing they need to thrive, whilst leaving a lasting positive impact.

**The role**:

**Essential Skills**:

- Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years so you are able to run a room independently.
- Leadership or management experience, in a childcare setting.
- Experience of working in a senior role within a nursery setting or centre working with children aged 0 to 5 years and their families.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Welsh curriculum, National Minimum Standards, CIW requirements and relevant current legislation
- Understanding of child protection processes, safeguarding and working with vulnerable children.
- Commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory working practice with children, families, colleagues and the community.
