**Hazel Tree Education are supporting an Outstanding Catholic college in Wigan.**

We are currently looking for 1:1 Learning Support Mentor to work with pupils aged 16-18 on a short-term basis at an Outstanding sixth form in Wigan.

The College ensures that every student has both strong roots and high-flying ambition and base their work around a strong ethos of care and respect that confirms that they are outstanding in every respect with learners who are happy to be educated within a Christian environment.

Students are challenged and supported to achieve high grades in a range of qualifications and to take part in activities designed to help learners leave College with the best possible passport to university and employment. The College boasts an impressive success with a continued A Level pass rate of over 99% - above the national average, alongside pass rates for Vocational courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3.
- A relevant degree (or equivalent)
- PGCE with QTS
- Confidence to teach Biology A1 and A2
- Evidence of the ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
- The ability to lead, motivate and inspire students
- A clear and current DBS on the Update Service
