**Job Title: Power Press Supervisor**

**Location**:Kings Norton**

**Salary: £15-£17**

As a Hands-On Power Press Supervisor, you'll lead by example, actively participating in the operation and maintenance of power press machines while overseeing a team to ensure safe and efficient production.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Participation**: Lead and work alongside power press operators, providing guidance and support while actively participating in machine operation.
- **Machine Operation**: Monitor and optimize power press performance through hands-on involvement, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality output.
- **Quality Assurance**: Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures, conducting inspections and addressing any deviations from standards.
- **Production Coordination**: Collaborate with production planners to schedule jobs and ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality.
- **Training and Development**: Provide hands-on training to operators to maintain and improve their skills, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- **Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of production output, maintenance activities, safety inspections, and any quality issues, generating reports as needed.
- **Problem Solving**: Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, employing hands-on troubleshooting techniques to minimize disruptions.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Lead efforts to identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes and initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

**Qualifications**:

- Extensive hands-on experience in power press operation and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of power press safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
- Willingness to work hands-on and lead by example in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
