We are looking for a Deputy Theatre Manager to join us in Portsmouth. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patient’s treatment is of the highest standard.
Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.
You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with ample experience of being a theatre practitioner in a theatre, or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner. You will be able to evidence continued professional and personal development and experienceleading or mentoring a team will be beneficial.
As well as being up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise you will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department.
You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager.
You will deputy manage the theatre complex to meet the requirements of high quality patient care, using advanced specific clinical knowledge and skills ensuring care activities comply with Practice Plus Group policies and procedures and are adhere too by allmembers of the theatre team. You will play a key role and maintain a proactive approach to managing the patient flow through the department, working closely with colleagues within the theatre team and Inpatient Ward.
