**Maths Teacher / Teacher of Maths Required in Lewisham**

Are you an inspirational and well-qualified Maths Teacher / Teacher of Maths? Are you currently looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and progressive school? A Lewisham based secondary school is looking to recruit a qualified Maths Teacher / Teacherof Maths to enrich the learning and development of their KS3, KS4 & KS5 students.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Deliver outstanding Maths lessons at all levels (KS3-KS5).
- Successfully manage the behaviour of the class following the school’s behaviour policy.
- Foster positive relationships with students by being a role model and ensure students achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth running of the school day and that students achieve the best outcomes.
- Act as an ambassador for Protocol Education by being punctual and professional at all times.
- Hold QTS / QTLS/ or equivalent with a Maths Specialism (Instructors and Unqualified teachers will be considered)
- Have a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational setting, ideally teaching Maths or Science.
- Are an excellent communicator and have a natural ability to work and build positive rapport with young people.
- Have good knowledge of child protection and safeguarding guidelines (an up-to-date DBS that is registered on the Update Service is desirable but not essential at this stage).
- Have the ability to work collaboratively as well as taking ownership of your own workload.
