Florist

Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service. **Duties**:

- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements to meet their needs
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and other floral supplies
- Arrange flowers in vases, bouquets, wreaths, and other decorative displays
- Ensure that all floral arrangements are of high quality and meet customer expectations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering advice on flower care and maintenance
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Assist with deliveries as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Florist is essential.
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral design techniques
- Strong artistic skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills to manage inventory and keep track of orders
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Sales skills to promote products and upsell additional services

Please note that this is a paid position.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week
