This Junior Finance Business Partner permanent role in Cambridge in the New media and internet sector will be reporting monthly financials to senior managers and Group against strict deadlines. Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/procedures andexternal regulatory requirements. The role is fast paced with accounting, reporting and analysis responsibility over your own division and therefore PnL within the group

**Description**

Finance Business Partner duties and responsibilities;
- Support the Financial Controller with month end reporting and Drive improvements in the business.
- Present key financial metrics to senior management teams at both Local and Global level Including detailed analysis of key performance indicators.
- Monthly cost centre analysis to identify risks, patterns, overspends ensuring cost control measures are in place and track under/over absorption
- Support Operations with budget creation - periodic reviews of budgets and forecasting throughout the year.
- Forecasting revenues - analysing the teams performance
- Journal preparation at month-ends for cost adjustments, prepayments, accruals etc. as required To ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Follow strict SOX and Internal controls guideline Alongside company policies.
- Work closely with senior management and operational leaders On issues relating to operational strategies and deliveries of key services.
- Reviewing unbilled orders for Service Ensuring they are invoiced and cleared/tackle any issues with Service team.
- Periodic debt reviews and assisting in accounts receivable tasks.

**Profile**

**Requirements - Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
**Essential**
- Studying for an accountancy qualification (ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA)
- Experience with Office 365 and Excel at an intermediate/advance level to include pivot tables and vlookups
- Previous working experience in the finance industry working supporting month end and providing reporting or financial analysis assistance
- Sound knowledge of Sales, General and Purchase Ledger functions.
- Ability to manage own time effectively with an organised and structured working approach.
- Committed, reliable and flexible with excellent communication and teamworking skills.

**Desirable**
- SAP and salesforce
- Driving licence or ability to travel to other sites potentially
