Are you an experienced Merchandiser who is looking to start a new career opportunity based in Manchester?
This company is a well-established UK importer and whole sale supplier, and although working for a small close nit team, you will make a huge difference As a merchandiser at this company, you will be paid between GBP23,000 and GBP28,000 depending on the levelof experience you obtain
What will you be doing as a Merchandiser?
- Working closely with the senior sales and product development teams
- Responsible for placing orders from concept through to delivery making sure that the product is being delivered at the right place at the right time
- Processing, managing, and tracking purchase orders and amending if necessary
- liaising with factories based overseas and ensuring that samples are received according to required dates and managing the timely delivery of samples and submissions to customers
- Liaising with customers
- Manage high street accounts in conjunction with the sales team and build strong relationships with retail customers and suppliers
- General admin
- Negotiating and maintaining freight to ship the goods
- Getting quotes from shipping companies and placing selected shippers with suppliers to ensure that goods are shipped on time and arrive in the UK timely
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

- 2 - 3 years experience in a merchandiser position from an import merchandising or wholesale background
- Good understanding of import merchandising and, managing critical paths is essential
- Competent with Microsoft office
- Conscious and self-motivated
- Work within a team and use own initiative
- Happy to do what is required for them to achieve the results
- Able to work in a varied and hands on environment
What will you get in return for your work as a Merchandiser?
- Free Parking
- No weekend work
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- An annual salary from GBP23,000 up to GBP28,000 depending on experience
