**What will you be doing in this role?**
- You will Assist the Senior Assurance Officer to generate and **manage **the Assurance Framework.**:

- Working with the business and Senior Management you will **evaluate and prepare the scope and testing approach of assurance reviews** to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- **Conducting 3**rd** line Assurance testing and monitoring of key controls**, along with thematic reviews in accordance with the Agile Assurance Backlog.
- **Preparing reports** which include presentation of results, the rationale for findings, risks posed, and action required to address the risks.
- **Tracking agreed actions** **through to conclusion** and **report on progress** upon completion of reviews.
- Monitor, analyse and report on** adherence** to the organisation’s regulatory compliance and risk control requirements.
- Taking **responsibility for the measures and management information (MI) **that are relevant to the role and the team, to make any necessary improvements.

**What are we looking for from you?**
- An up-to-date **knowledge** and **understanding** of **regulatory principles and rules, including Consumer Duty**. An **understanding** of the **regulatory environment** applicable to First Response Finance Ltd. E.g., **Consumer Duty,** **CONC, GDPR** etc.
- G**reat attention to detail**, who checks thoroughly, and who has an approach that is in line with putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- A **proactive and assertive approach** with **strong problem-solving skills** and **pragmatic decision making**.
- An ability to **think strategically, assess risks** and explain the potential consequences, whilst** challenging the status quo** in a constructive manner.
- Good **organisation and time management skills**, which will allow management of own and others daily workflow to ensure efficiency and strong results.
- An **excellent written and verbal communicator**, with the ability to **build effective relationships with key stakeholders**. To do this using strong **influencing and negotiation skills** whilst being able to deal with conflicts positively and objectively.
- **Experience** in a **compliance, assurance, or audit Function** in **UK financial services.**

**Working Hours and Location**

This is a full-time position in which you will be working **Monday
- Friday** between the hours of **09:00-17:30.**

You will be** based in our Nottingham Office (NG9 6RZ). **This role is a hybrid working role, where there is an expectation you will need to **attend the Nottingham office at least two days a week**, typically Tuesday and Thursday.
