We are currently looking for a **General Operative** to join our team in Hayes, London. We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.

**Role Responsibility**:
Reporting directly to the Unit Manager you will working as part of the site production team and will be responsible for:

- Ensuring daily tasks are completed including general site housekeeping and basic maintenance
- The safe and efficient operation of mobile (loading shovel) and fixed plant
- Other duties including assisting with site maintenance projects
- Adhering to on-site Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times

To be successful in this role you will ideally have worked within a similar working environment. You will also:

- Ideally have knowledge of Asphalt products
- Have knowledge and experience of Health and Safety policies and procedures at work
- Possess numeracy and literacy skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be motivated
- Be flexible in your working approach (varying hours)
