We are working with a market leader based on the outskirts of Gloucester who are seeking a Business Analyst to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract for large scale programme of transformation. This is a great opportunity for a Business Analyst withexposure to digital transformation projects to support a large scale business on their transformation journey.
What will you be doing?
- Take full responsibility for business analysis, ensuring that the advice given and decisions made have measurable impacts on the profitability or effectiveness of the organisation.
- Lead the selection of appropriate business analysis methods, tools and techniques, selecting an appropriate methodology and approach.
- Establish the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategies, validating, and justifying business needs, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases and overseeingthe development and implementation of solutions.
- Determine readiness levels of business users with regard to upcoming changes and implement action plans to support user adoption.
- Responsible for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change.
What experience do you need
- Previous experience working as a Business Analyst on Digital Transformation projects of work
- Demonstrable experience of successful engagement with senior stakeholders
- Experience in project methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall)
- Experience of preparing business cases and working with 3rd parties on development and implementation of solutions
- Supporting cost/benefit analysis and options appraisal
- Experience of working on a large scale projects and programmes of work
- Previous experience of delivering M365 project would be advantageous
