Joining the Business Industrial Placement, you’ll work closely with FB Global Services tax specialists to identify and substantiate cash generating tax credit - helping the U.S. economy not only recover from the pandemic, but to come back stronger than before.

We are proud to offer you hands on experience through working with clients in exciting industries, you’ll not only get a unique insight into the fun FB Global Services culture, but also gain exposure to advisers in the industry. We offer an extensive training program allowing you to become experts within our organisation. As a result, you’ll develop key skills that will help shape the rest of your career.

**What will I be doing?**

First of all, you’ll be working collaboratively with the Client Support team on a variety of client requests, developing invaluable skills in client service, time management, project management, and relationship building. On your Industrial placement at FB Global Services you’ll have real exposure from the start, and we’d love for you to get stuck in. But you won’t do it alone. We’re an encouraging bunch and want you to do well. We have our own dedicated training program to equip you with the knowledge and expertise you need to feel confident in representing FB Global Services to our clients.

To give you an idea, here’s a list of skills you could be developing:

- relationship building with both colleagues and clients
- client management through shadowing briefs and key client touchpoints
- time management by scheduling and managing interactions
- working at speed around urgent client projects
- results orientation and target driven mindset
- working collaboratively as part of a team, attending team meetings and contributing to workshops and training

***What are we looking for?**

For our work placement, we’re looking for penultimate students looking to complete a placement as part of their degree and get a headstart in their career. You might be a business management student looking for industry experience, or you might be a Marketing student interested in gaining client service skills in a fresh new environment. All we look for is a strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

**Skills and attributes**:

- A motivated self-starter, a quick learner and highly organised when it comes to getting things done
- Experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, ideally some proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively communicate and build professional relationships with a diverse client base
- High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines
- A keen desire to learn and develop knowledge in the financial services sector
- A team player, ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and to contribute to collective knowledge sharing and best practice
