An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Estimator to join our growing business in the North-West.

The key to this role is to primarily support the Pre-construction Team within the Estimating department. You will gain experience on estimating negotiated contracts, the preparation of tenders and estimating works for onsite projects

**Trainee Estimator Key Responsibilities**:

- To support the estimating team in carrying out their duties
- To coordinate and manage the process of supplier enquiries
- To maintain the register of all enquiries as sent and received
- Maintain pre-contract supply chain database of supplies
- Measurement and pricing of bills of quantities
- Assisting with cost planning of projects from initial feasibility to contract
- To support the wider pre-construction team when required
- Carry out general administration associated with tender preparation and submission
- Good verbal communication skills for interaction with internal and external team
- Working with key pre-construction contracts from within the pre-contract team, bid managers, bid writers, estimators, planners and other technical experts.

You will need at least 2 A Levels at grade A* to C, with 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science.

Alternatively, you may have already completed a level 3 Advanced apprenticeship (BTEC).

It will be an advantage to have or have access to a vehicle to commute to work.
