This role is working for a successful BRC AA Graded food manufacturer.

The company produces high-quality food products and exceptional service - enabling their food manufacturing customers to innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality.

**About the Specifications Technologist job**
- Support the generation and maintenance of specifications ensuring they are accurate to the finished product.
- Ensure all new and existing specifications are in line with relevant policy, legislation, and customer guidelines.
- Overview of the raw material, factory, QAS and finished product specifications to ensure all information is accurate and correct.
- Ensure all customer product specifications and labels comply with legal, food safety, and quality requirements.

**About You**

You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail. This role could suit a food science or similar graduate, or perhaps you are a Technical Assistant who is looking for a specifications role.
- Technical experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment (this could be from a university placement).
- Experience writing and maintaining product specifications is desirable.
- Familiar with specifications software, either business own or customer portal systems is also a great benefit.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.

The Specifications Technologist job is based in Greater Manchester and is paying up to £26,000 according to your experience.

This role is initially a temp-to-perm contract.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 4.30 pm and Friday 7.30 am - 3 pm.
