Customer Service Administrator

**About our opportunity**
In our expanding market, we are seeking to appoint a Customer Service Administrator to be an integral part of a small team. The role will be responsible for liaising with clients and laboratory staff ensuring accurate and timely communication, perform general administration duties and be responsible and accountable for prioritising and managing Customer Relationships.
A summary of duties includes:
- To provide administrative support, reporting, invoicing in an efficient and timely manner and actioning client queries to help ensure that all customer requirements are met.
- To support with the booking in of all samples, creating quotes, ensuring testing requirements are correct and the client instructions have been understood.
- To work closely with the Laboratory Management team, providing support, assistance and guidance particularly on technical issues where applicable.
- To proactively communicate with clients in an effective manner, via a variety of media, providing updates, progress reports and pertinent information on their work in progress.
- Identify and implement new working methods and practices to ensure the highest possible productivity, helping identify and communicate opportunities for real change in key business processes and methodologies that will facilitate business growth.
- To ensure the highest possible efficiency, productivity, safety and quality standards are achieved at all times.
**About you**
Extensive experience in a Customer Services team environment with a proven track record of meeting quality and client requirements. You must have excellent customer awareness and focus are essential requirements in this role as is the ability to marry these requirements with the deliverables of the company.
It is essential that you have are confident collaborating via the telephone and on a face to face basis and are computer literate with MS Office.
A degree of technical astuteness and understanding of Environmental testing and Science nomenclature / phrases would be advantageous - being able to understand and discuss client’s technical requirements and provide resolutions to queries.
