**JOB TITLE: - Supplier Payments Support** **Location: - Head Office Bolton** **Salary: - £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience** **Reporting to:Finance Manager** **We are taking part in the national 4-Day Working Week - 3-day weekend, EVERY weekend** **JOB PURPOSE**: This is a crucial role in facilitating the communication between site operation teams and central Accounts Payable function and the overhead finance team. You will develop relationships with operational sites to determine what barriers they are facing. You will then help solve these barriers by liaising with the finance function and continually looking at ways to improve processes that may not be working forboth parties. You will be key in enabling service leads to focus on their primary role. You will be required to develop a relationship with sites which will require good levels of communication and potential visits to sites. You will also develop relationships with central finance functions. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**: - Ensure that you proactively support operational sites and work with central functions to resolve tasks asap as well as provide regular updates for the lengthier solutions - Ensure that clear communication is delivered to both central functions and to site leaders - Report back trends, issues and areas of improvement to both the Finance Manager and AP Manager - Liaise with suppliers to achieve best practice and processes with invoicing and payments **REQUIREMENTS** - **Provide excellent customer service - **Ensure all tasks are dealt with asap and the needs of the service managers are met - **Ownership and initiative - **Take full ownership of your workload and use initiative to find efficient solutions - **Service knowledge** - Gain experience of supporting site admin processes and understand the site managers and the issues they face with AP & supplier invoices and payments. - **Service reporting** - report progress, issues and areas of improvement to the Manager. - **User focus** - You know how to best meet the needs of your managers and are seeking feedback regularly on the effectiveness. **Standard responsibilities**: There are a number of standard duties and responsibilities that all employees, irrespective of their role and level of seniority within OFG are expected to be familiar with and adhere to; - Participate in our induction programme - Undertake regular training - Participate in an annual performance review programme - Works, at all times, in accordance with the policies and procedures of the OFG Group and statutory regulations applicable to the Group - Observes, at all times, strict rules of confidentiality appropriate to the post - To comply at all times with the requirements of Health and Safety Regulations, ensuring their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues - OFG Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all employees to work in accordance with this **In addition**: - Strong time management skills - Excellent attention to detail - Strong communication and written English language skills - Knowledge of key systems used: Microsoft Office - Desired - Experience in a care setting or special school admin - Desired - Experience of Central contact Centre’s **About the Group** Outcomes First Group exists to make sure vulnerable young people get the opportunities they need, whether that involves providing them with specialist education and residential care or finding them dedicated foster families in which they can thrive.
