Due to a high demand in workload, DVC Commercial Roofing Contractors are looking to recruit an Accounts & Office Assistant at our Newcastle office.

**Duties will include**
- Credit control - Contacting customers for payments due/send statements
- Inputting purchase invoices and subcontractor weekly invoices against purchase orders on (Eque2)
- Overhead invoices (Sage), checking supplier statements, producing monthly payment runs for finance manager and dealing with any invoice queries
- Maintenance of sales/purchase ledgers
- Processing staff timesheets onto (Eque2) on a weekly basis before passing to finance manager to process payroll
- Processing staff credit card statements and expenses against correct nominals
- Bank Reconciliation and monthly journals
- To support the sales/estimating team. For example, completing new supplier forms, PQQ’s and management of internal CRM system - monitoring mailbox, logging of tenders, downloading documentation onto share point.
- Assist with purchasing/buying when needed
- To keep the staff training matrix up to date/ liaise with contracts manager to book guys training.
- To answer telephone calls in a polite and courteous manner dealing with any requests promptly and efficiently, returning call backs in timely manner.
- To ensure when post arrives it is distributed to relevant recipients in a timely manner.
- General filing and organisation of office.
- Ordering office essentials, stationery, and staff clothing
- To support the senior management team. For example, booking accommodation and/or travel and booking meetings.
- To maintain and keep up to date confidentiality of all relevant information and files on share point
- Vehicles - ensure all vehicles are taxed, services and MOT. Driving license checks ran regularly also maintenance of company fuel cards.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
