**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance logistics processes and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records are maintained within the warehouse.
- Supervise warehouse staff and provide training on best practices for handling goods and operating equipment.
- Utilise transportation management systems to track shipments and optimise routes.
- Conduct regular audits of logistics processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading materials.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations and transportation management systems.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in supervising teams is advantageous.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in using systems such as AS400 is desirable.
- Valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £29,781.00-£31,747.00 per year
