Supply Planner

As a **Supply Planner** you will be at the heart of MSC’s market leading operations team. You will work in a diverse and dynamic team interacting with a multitude of different departments. You will be responsible for overseeing Supplier Operational Management, making sure that our diverse supplier base is efficient in its delivery of product to help drive MSCs aims.

**What will I be doing?**

As a Supply Planner your job will be centered around overseeing an assigned supplier portfolio to help MSC achieve its business strategy. You work directly alongside Demand Planning, Category Management & Warehouse, as well as a multitude of other departments to help achieve this aim.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

- Order Placement & Decision Making
- Supplier Operational Management
- Expediting
- Error Exceptions Management
- Supplier Returns

Your main duties will include:

- Overseeing Supplier Operational Management, creating & delivering Supplier Improvement Plans.
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels through efficient stock ordering.
- Managing supplier purchase orders, expediting overdue orders keeping the most accurate system delivery dates for customer facing teams.
- Working collaboratively alongside Demand Planning to identify overstock and help facilitate the reduction of it.
- Working collaboratively alongside Category Management for New Product Introduction and helping to deliver Category Strategies.

**Salary**: £28,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
