Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service user with her complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a young girl who lives with her family in Erdington who you will be supporting during the day and night on a 1:1 basis.

Her hobbies include playing with her light-up toys, accessing the community, and watching TV.

Going on the trampoline and swings are favourite activities of hers, she also loves receiving cuddles from her care team while making them laugh and smile.

During the day she will attend school with her care team, your duties may include but are not limited to carrying our personal care, mobility assistance, and meeting all clinical and development needs.

She will communicate through babble noises and hand gestures and can understand somethings that you are saying to her. You will need to use hand gestures to help her understand what you’re asking or to explain what you are doing when carrying out her care.

It would be advantageous if you have previously supported with PEG feeds or oral suctioning or have awareness and knowledge of what it entails, however it isn’t an essential as we do provide full clinical training.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months of previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- Peg Feeding
- Oral Suctioning
- Seizure Management
- Cerebral Palsy

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Full Time + Part Time
- Days 7.30am-5pm
- Nights are a mixture of
- 9.30pm - 7.30am
- 11pm - 9am

Weekdays £12.00 per hour (Approx. £114 per shift)

Weeknights £13.00 per hour (Approx. £130 per shift)

Weekends £13.00 per hour (Approx. £130 per shift)
