Due to substantial growth across the business an opportunity has now become available within our clients established and close-knit Technical Department.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, this is an exciting role for an **experienced QA / Quality Assurance Assistant** to work with a hugely sought after and exciting homeware product within the Textiles industry as part of the fastest growing and largest company within their sector.

**This role is hybrid 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.**

**The Role**:

- Involves both physical quality testing and administrative management of the quality process.
- Daily critical path management, ensuring samples and required testing needs are chased through from vendors.
- Working with all vendors to achieve right first-time quality and on time delivery of samples
- Proactively reporting outcomes of product assessments to vendors, providing updates and actions required with follow up communication
- Completion of technical files and certifications for product compliance
- Storage management of customer technical/production seal samples
- Forward planning and subsequent inspection of incoming goods against product specification and specific customer requirements.
- Ensure that packaging and labelling requirements are generated and provided to vendors on time
- Assist the Support Teams with quality complaints and customer queries

**Skills Required**:

- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance / QA Assistant role or other similar quality role e.g., Quality Controller, Quality Inspector, Quality Technician
- A manufacturing background with knowledge of production processes (Textile ideally, otherwise able to transfer skills)
- Excellent communication skills across multifunctional departments
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Highly methodical with good Attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Happy to help attitude and willingness to succeed
- A desire for continuous improvement
- A willingness to work flexibly with possible travel overseas
