**Web Developer - London - GBP 40,000-45,000 DOE**

A new position has recently become available with an exciting digital agency who are currently partnered with several major global brands.

They are searching for an experienced and motivated WordPress/PHP Developer with 4-5+ years of experience to join their team on a permanent basis.

As a Web Developer, you will create and implement websites for companies, driving performance for their brands.

This role requires you to work from the London based office 1-2 times a week. This means you must live in and have the right to work in the UK.

**Responsibilities as a Web Developer include**:

- Building optimised websites from Figma, Sketch and Adobe XD prototypes
- Rapidly turning around landing pages and data capture pages
- Using best-practice on-page SEO techniques to enhance websites
- Offering development expertise to the design team to help produce wireframes and concepts
- Guiding clients on optimal technology stacks and software for specific purposes
- Maintaining and improving existing websites
- Training clients and other staff within the group on how to maintain and update WordPress websites

**Key Technologies**:

- PHP
- WordPress
- Figma
- Sketch
- Adobe XD
- GitHub

**Desirable**:

- Live events or ticketing experience is hugely beneficial
- Google Tag Manager
- Ecommerce websites (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento)
- A background working with Bedrock Roots WordPress framework
- Node.js, React, or other JavaScript frameworks
- Laravel
- Google APIs
- A knowledge of management tools and shell/terminal
